At NESCU, we believe in people helping the community, and vice-versa.

To open a new NESCU Service Point, all it takes is:

  • Two or three volunteers who can regularly spare an hour or two.
  • A suitable venue.

In return, we offer full training and ongoing support. We also explain the Credit Union movement, and – if you’re keen – outline other possibilities such as becoming a member of the Board of Directors, in a role like treasurer or secretary.

We’ll arrange to meet at your convenience and discuss what’s involved. We may also be able to put you in touch with others nearby who are also interested.
